In Short

AM Creative Marketing is a marketing agency in Amesbury, Massachusetts that runs social media management for home service companies and local businesses, in New England and across the country. The work covers content creation, scheduling, posting, and community management on Facebook, Instagram, and where it fits, LinkedIn and YouTube. Social runs alongside search engine optimization, website design, video production, and paid advertising, so one filming visit feeds several channels. The agency holds a 5.0 rating across 37 Google reviews.

Content is built around your actual work wherever possible. Either you capture quick clips on your phone from a shot list we provide, or we visit your jobsites and shoot it ourselves. Posts follow a four-part framework so the feed mixes teaching, personality, expertise, and asking for the job, instead of only ever selling. Builders and remodelers get a dedicated version of this on our social media for contractors page.

Organic social is a compounding investment. Expect noticeable local awareness in 60 to 90 days and meaningful momentum around six months, which is slower than paid ads and longer lasting. Month to month, no long contract, and every photo, video, and graphic we produce belongs to you. Current pricing is on our pricing page.

What a month of this actually moved

Two accounts we manage, August 2026 against July 2026, measured the same way both months. Reach is how many separate people saw the posts. Interactions are likes, comments, shares, and saves. Engagement rate is interactions as a share of the people reached.

Design-build contractor, North Shore MA
  • People reached 4,667 to 6,466
  • Interactions 126 to 250
  • Inquiries credited to social 2 of 14

Project progress and construction explainers carried the month. Two of the fourteen inquiries logged in their CRM that month came in through social, and both were for accessory dwelling units.

Cabinet showroom, coastal NH and MA
  • People reached 1,825 to 2,440
  • Engagement rate 6.72% to 7.92%
  • Audience 4,098 followers

They posted less and reached more: 20 posts in August against 29 in July. The two that led the month were the owner on camera walking through a product line and a refinishing job, which is the pattern we see on almost every account.

One month is one month. Social numbers move with the season, the job mix, and what got filmed, so treat these as what happened on two accounts in August, not as a forecast for yours. The line worth watching is the inquiry count, because that comes from the client's own CRM rather than from a social platform's own reporting.

The Reality

You know you should be posting. You just don't have time.

You're running jobs, managing crews, and handling customers. The last thing on your mind is what to post on Instagram today. And when you do post? It feels random. Disconnected. Like shouting into a void.

Going viral does nothing for a local service business. Being remembered does. When someone's furnace quits or their roof leaks, you want to be the first name that comes to mind, and the second thing they do is check whether your page looks like a real, active business.

That takes consistency, and it takes someone who understands your trade. We run this for HVAC companies, for builders and remodelers, and for the other local trades covered in our home services marketing work.

Our Approach

Why does every post need a job?

Social media is part of our larger marketing strategy. Every post serves a purpose. Every piece of content connects to your bigger picture.

Most owners who try social media give up because it feels pointless. Post a photo, get a few likes from friends, wonder why it didn't bring any calls. That's because posting without strategy is just noise.

We use a content framework designed for service businesses. It balances educational content that builds trust, relatable moments that humanize your brand, observational insights that show expertise, and clear calls to action when the time is right.

The result is content that moves the needle. People start recognizing your name. They remember you when they need help. And when they check you out before calling, which most of them do, the page backs up what your website and search presence already told them.

Recent Work

What the content actually looks like

Filmed on real jobsites with real crews, because your own work will always outperform anything generic.

Brand Reel

Finished project footage cut to music, built to stop the scroll and show the standard of work.

Owner On Camera

The owner explaining the work in his own words. This is the content that builds trust fastest.

One visit, a long run of content. A single filming session gives us enough raw footage to keep the calendar full for a good stretch without you thinking about it.

How It Works

Where does the content come from?

Your jobsites are a content goldmine. You can capture it or we can. Either way, we turn real work into polished posts that connect with customers.

You Film, We Polish

You're already on the jobsite. We give you a simple shot list and you capture quick clips on your phone. We handle all the editing, captions, and posting.

Great for busy schedules

We Come to You

We visit your jobsites to capture professional video content. Project walkthroughs, team features, and before-and-afters that fuel months of posts.

What's Included

What does social media management cover?

Everything from the content itself to the replies in your inbox, handled for you.

Content Creation

Graphics, reels, and captions built from your projects, your team, and your community.

Content Calendar

Planned ahead so posting stays consistent through your busy season, not just the slow one.

Scheduling and Posting

Published at the times your audience is actually on, across every platform you run.

Community Management

Comments and messages answered, so a question at 8pm doesn't sit until Monday.

Profile Optimization

Bios, service info, hours, and links set up so a visitor can contact you in one tap.

Reporting

Reach, engagement, and follower growth, plus what we're changing next and why.

Where Social Fits

Social is one part of getting found

Posting keeps you in mind. These are the pieces that put you in front of someone actively looking, and they share the same footage and the same plan.

Search engine optimization

Ranking for the searches homeowners run when something breaks. Social supports it, search closes it.

Video production

The jobsite shoots that fill the calendar. One visit gives you reels, a website video, and ad footage.

Paid advertising

For when you need calls this week rather than this quarter. Ads convert better once the page looks active.

Website design

The place every post sends people. A profile visit that lands on a slow site is a wasted post.

AI search optimization

Getting named when someone asks ChatGPT or Google's AI answers for a contractor in your town.

Local business marketing

The full plan these pieces sit inside, built around booked jobs rather than clicks.

Social runs inside our home services marketing work, with focused versions for HVAC companies and builders and remodelers. See the full list of industries we serve, or read what this looked like over a longer stretch in our construction marketing case study and HVAC results breakdown.

FAQ

Social media questions, answered

How much does social media management cost for a small business?

Social media management is an add-on to our Web Presence & AI Search Growth program, which starts at $1,597 per month. Add-ons like social and ad management run an additional $500 to $1,500 per month combined, depending on what you turn on. On-site filming is booked separately.

The reason it sits on top of the core program rather than on its own is simple. Social sends people to your website and your Google profile, and if those are weak, the posts do the work and the site drops the ball. Running it together also means one jobsite visit feeds several channels. Current figures are on our pricing page, and a strategy call is the fastest way to find out what your setup would cost.

Does social media actually bring in leads for a local business?

Yes, but rarely in a straight line, and anyone promising otherwise is selling something. Almost nobody sees a post about a water heater and books a water heater.

What it does is win the comparison. When a homeowner gets three quotes, they look all three companies up. The one with recent work, real faces, and answered comments looks like a business that is busy and cares. The one whose last post was fourteen months ago looks like a risk. That comparison happens on every job you bid, whether or not you are on social.

It also compounds with everything else. Your page shows up in branded searches, feeds your local SEO signals, and gives repeat customers a reason to remember you exist between jobs.

Which platforms should my business be on?

Facebook and Instagram for almost every local service business. Facebook is where the neighborhood groups and recommendation threads live, which is where word of mouth actually happens now. Instagram is where finished work looks good.

LinkedIn matters if you sell to businesses, property managers, or general contractors rather than homeowners. YouTube is worth it when you have real explainer content to build on.

Two platforms done properly beats five done badly. We would rather post well in two places than thinly everywhere.

How often do you post?

Often enough to keep the page looking active, set with you at kickoff and adjusted to your season. Roofers and HVAC companies need a heavier calendar going into their busy stretch and can ease off after.

Consistency beats volume every time. A page that posts steadily for a year outperforms one that floods the feed for a month and then goes silent, both with the algorithm and with the homeowner checking whether you are still in business.

I'm too busy to film anything. Does this still work?

Yes, and it's the most common situation. Two options:

  • We send a short shot list, you grab clips on your phone between jobs, and we do everything else. It takes a few minutes of your time, not hours.
  • We come to your jobsites and shoot it ourselves. One session gives us enough footage for a long run of posts.

Either way, your own work leads. We'll use a designed graphic or a stock image where it genuinely serves the post, but a feed built mostly on generic imagery is the version that gets ignored.

Do I own the content you create?

Yes. Every photo, video, graphic, and caption is yours to keep and reuse. Put it on your website, in a proposal, on a truck wrap, wherever.

Your accounts stay in your name too. We work inside them with access you grant and can revoke. Some agencies create the profiles under their own account, which means you lose the page and the followers when you leave.

How long before social media starts working?

Expect noticeable local awareness and engagement in 60 to 90 days, and real momentum around six months. Organic social compounds rather than switching on.

If you need the phone ringing next week, that's paid advertising, not organic social. The two work well together: ads produce leads now, social builds the trust that makes those ads convert better over time.

Do you work with businesses outside Massachusetts?

Yes. We're in Amesbury, Massachusetts, and manage social for businesses across the country.

The one real difference is filming. If you're local, we can come shoot. If you're further out, we run the shot-list approach and you capture the raw footage, which works well once the routine is set. Everything else runs identically.
